Doctor Who Magazine 406 Cover

The cover for the next issue of Doctor Who Magazine has been released. In the magazine David Tennant talks about what is gonna happen in Comic Relief next Friday. David will be co-presenting the first hour of the programme alongside Davina McCall. The issue also includes the exclusive story of how the Daleks came close to invading America in 1967, a tribute to John Scott Martin and more!

DWM #406 will be released on Thursday 5th March 2009, priced £3.99.

Lindsay Duncan - New Assistant

The BBC has confirmed that Lindsay Duncan will guest star in the second Doctor Who special of 2009. Lindsay Duncan is best known for her roles in Shooting the Past and GBH and is soon to star as Margaret Thatcher in the highly anticipated BBC Two drama, Margaret. In Doctor Who she will play Adelaide - the Doctor's cleverest and most strong-minded companion yet.

Lindsay joins David Tennant as he continues his role as The Doctor in the second special of four in 2009. This will follow Planet of the Dead, due to air this Easter on BBC One. What do ya think? Tell us.

Special SJA Episode - Comic Relief

The BBC have confirmed that special mini episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures will air for this year's Red Nose Day. The episode is written by Gareth Roberts and Clayton Hickman, has been filmed especially for this year's Comic Relief and stars series regulars Elisabeth Sladen, Tommy Knight, Daniel Anthony and Anjli Mohindra. K9 will as well make an appearance.

One of my comedy legends Ronnie Corbett will guest star will also feature the return of an old enemy (but who?). "It's an honour to get involved with Red Nose Day," said executive producer Russell T Davies. "With Ronnie Corbett, K-9 and an old enemy's return, we can promise Sarah Jane Smith's most extraordinary adventure yet!"
